COMMUNITY
Values

The partners attach great importance to consultation with the local community, both in the development of new projects and operating the wind farms. To ensure proper integration of the wind farms into the community, the partners rely on the following values:
Donations & Sponsorships

Each year, Seigneurie de Beaupré Wind Farms support various non-profit organizations and charitable events to contribute to the vitality of the host region.
To align with our beliefs and business objectives, most of the activities we support fall into three main categories:
Socio-Community
We support social- and community-oriented charities with missions to improve quality of life in a way that makes sense locally.
Environment
Sustainable development and respect for wildlife and the environment are integral parts of our daily activities. We want to back environmental organizations that work diligently to improve the health of our planet.
Education
Today's young people are tomorrow's future. We are therefore committed to contributing to projects led by the region's elementary and high schools and supporting research and university projects on Seigneurie de Beaupré land.
Monitoring Committee

Mandate

The committee's mandate is to monitor the construction and operation of Seigneurie de Beaupré Wind Farms. Committee members are responsible for reviewing and discussing all aspects of the wind farms, such as economic benefits and operation activities, as well as handling any questions or comments regarding projects. The committee is also involved in implementing corrective measures and may also follow up with the individuals concerned.

The monitoring committee facilitates dialogue between developers and the public. This proactive approach was initially implemented in the wind farms’ first construction phase, and it will continue throughout their operating life
Operating procedure

The committee, which began its mandate in August 2010, meets once a year, as required. The frequency of meetings can be re-assessed at any time.
